WORLD TREE: SHAMANISM WITH
THE YEW DRYADS
July 13th and 14th 2013
Brecon Beacons National Park
Many of us have a great attraction to the immense and beautiful Yew trees of our land, and no wonder - some of them are thousands of years old, and our connection winds back through many generations of ancestors, deep into our ancient Shamanic heritage. I've been working with Yew spirits for many years, they have enormous power, depth, and potency as healers and must be treated with utmost respect - never difficult as they are so awe inspiring!
This area of Wales is home to an unusual number of spectacular Yew trees and during this weekend we will meet several groups and individuals. We will talk about the natural history and lore of the Yew, spend time outdoors practicing ways to connect with and experience the Yew Dryads, and also explore their spirits through shamanic journeying and meditation.
As much work as possible will be done outdoors, so there will be walking and weather involved! If you have never learned to journey shamanically, it will be included at the beginning of the weekend, so you will have the added bonus of beginning to work with your own Shamanic animal and Spirit guides.
Each day will run from 10am until approximately 5.30pm. You will need to be suitably dressed for outdoors in wild Wales, and to bring a packed lunch. Local accommodation list provided on request.
THE EARLY BIRD COST OF THIS WORKSHOP IS £110
